PADI Open Water Scuba Certification
Our PADI Open Water Courses are personalized and flexibly scheduled with the ocean training dives taking place in Key Largo- the best area for diving in South Florida! The PADI OW Certification Course consists of classroom, confined water (heated pool), and open water (ocean) portions. Once certified, PADI Open Water Divers are qualified to dive anywhere in the world- up to a recommended maximum of 60 feet.
Flexible Scheduling
Miami Scuba Venture's scuba courses are flexibly scheduled- students create their own individualized training schedule, with classroom, pool and ocean dive sessions available 7 days a week. Meet weekdays, in the evening, or schedule weekend sessions for 2-4 hours per meeting.
While we are based in Miami, Key Largo tends to offer the best overall dive experience- with the better water clarity, more abundant marine life, well equipped dive boats and professional crew. MSV Client Testimonials
Scuba Equipment Rental, Boat Fees, Certification Fee, and Log book included
The course price includes: private/semi-private instruction, complete scuba equipment rental w/ weights, wetsuit rental, dive boat fees (2 trips- 4 dives), PADI certification fee, and a student log book, Students need to provide a personal mask, snorkel and fins. We offer several complete high quality mask, snorkel and fin sets to students at a substantial discount (approx. $135.00 for the complete set). Students may also rent a set for the entire course for $30.

Transportation is available from most Miami area hotels
We provide door to door transportation from Downtown, Brickell, Coconut Grove, Coral Gables and South Miami area hotels. From South Beach (1st St. to 25th St), or the Doral area, there is an additional charge $15 per person charge..

Underwater Photography
Have your dive experience captured and share it with friends and family. Photo Instructor Colby Johnson will photograph your dive experience for $60 or shoot an editied 10 minute HD video for $70. Images are edited and burned to disc. Here is a sample video: http://youtu.be/ksBDv119VZg

Payment Options and Cancellation Policy
A credit card is needed to reserve your course dates- full payment is made once the course begins. MasterCard, Visa, check and cash are accepted. The cancellation of a scuba course or dive trips within 48 hours of the scheduled start time will result in a cancellation fee of $150 per person for scuba courses. Refunds are not offered once the course has progressed beyond the first session.
Dive excursions are always weather dependent and MSV reserves the right to cancel a trip due to ocean/weather conditions.
