PADI Discover Scuba Experience
Miami Scuba Ventures' Discover Scuba Course is an exhilarating,
one-day introductory scuba experience allowing participants to
make two guided ocean dives with a certified PADI instructor. As long
as you know how to swim and have no medical conditions which preclude
you from diving, it's easy to do and no experience is necessary! You'll
have a blast blowing bubbles for the first time, diving up to 40 feet
on colorful coral reef and wreck sites teeming with tropical fish.
Start with a private pool session in the morning around 9:00 AM, learning some basic scuba skills before heading down to Key Largo where you'll make two guided shallow dives in the John Pennekamp Coral Reef State Park, returning to Miami by 6:00 PM.
Transportation from Miami to Key Largo is limited to 4 passengers per trip so we suggest booking your excursion in advance. Hotel pick up in Miami (Downtown, Brickell, Coconut Grove, Coral Gables and South Miami) and Key Largo is available. There is an additional $10 per person surcharge to pick up from South Beach (1st St.- 25th St.).

- Morning pool session with a private PADI Scuba Instructor
- Two guided dives in Key Largo's John Pennekamp State Park (20-40 feet deep)
- Complete SCUBA gear rental including BC, regulator, tanks, weights, and wetsuit.
- Transportation from Downtown, Brickell, Coconut Grove and Coral Gables
- A light snack and cold bottled water or juice on board the boat
- A certified Divemaster/Instructor and USCG licensed Captain on board for each trip to provide a thorough briefing and assistance.
What to Bring
All that you need to bring are a swimsuit and towel, a dry change of clothes, sun-block, a hat, and lunch or a snack. We have a cooler on board the boat with ice and plenty of cold drinking water. If time permits, we may stop and pick up a sandwich to take out on the boat.

A credit card (MC/VISA) number is needed to reserve your trip date although payment is not collected until the day of your excursion. MasterCard, Visa, check or cash are accepted.

Cancellation Policy
Cancellation of scuba courses or dive trips within 24 hours of the scheduled check in/pick up time will result in a cancellation fee of $100 per person for Discover Scuba trips. Dive excursions are always weather dependent and MSV may have to cancel a trip due to sea/weather conditions.
